Introduction

The consortium, led by ECN, consists of:

• ECN, Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands (the central institute for energy research in the Netherlands)
  • N.V. Eneco (energy company serving the residential and corporate markets in The Netherlands) supports ECN in its work on the field test (Experiment A) as an associate contractor.
• Inventer la Distribution de l'Electricite de l'Avenir (IDEA) is the common research institute of the academic organisation INPG (Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (University in France, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Process Engineering, Automation, Signal Processing, Microelectronics and Electrical Engineering)), the electronic equipment manufacturer Schneider and EDF.
• EnerSearch AB (Industrial research consortium in the field of "Energy IT & Business Development and Strategy", Sweden)
• Eon Sverige AB (electricity company covering sales, distribution and production of electricity, natural gas, LPG, heat, solid fuels, computer operations, multi utility, broadband, electrical installations, and in metering, telecom and consultancy services, Sweden)
